简介：A man named Sang-hyeon (played by Song Kang-ho) runs a struggling laundry business, burdened by debts. His best friend, Dong-soo (played by Kang Dong-won), works at a baby box organization for abandoned infants. One rainy night, they secretly take one of the babies from the box. The next day, a young mother named Soo-yeon (played by Lee Ji-eun) comes to their door, demanding her child back. Instead of reporting them to the authorities, Soo-yeon surprisingly agrees to let the two "middlemen" find a better home for her son and decides to accompany them on their journey. Unbeknownst to them, Detective Soo-jin (played by Bae Doona) and her junior partner, Detective Lee (played by Lee Ju-yeong), have been secretly following their every move, gathering evidence to bring them to justice. As the story unfolds, it is revealed that the baby in the box triggers a chain of events involving five key characters, leading them on an unexpected and poignant journey that touches upon the intricacies of human emotions and society.
